The ant and the bee II
This one is a completion for "The ant and the bee" from "Morbid nature" and it keeps the same subject.
Around the bee, the world revolves
While the ant tries to evolve
There goes the ant, climbing up the plant
Proud of it's new wings, tries to fly but can't
As it lands strongly on the floor
It remembers that it's just like before
Nothing can change the world's core
This is but how the bees are born
Ants have no choice but to mourn
A thousand ants carry one stone
While the bee flies alone
Making honey by it's own
As by the screams of wind the ants were blown
The bees can not play with fate
Hey ants, "check mate"
It will always be the bee's place
Against destiny the ants can not face
No matter how hard it tries to replace
All their efforts shall be annihilated with no trace.

ReplyDeleteThis metaphor drives me crazy and the fact that you chose to use it again is just perfect! :D
